Pascual Roch, Spanish guitarist.Was born in Valencia (Spain) in 1860, died in 1921 in Havana (Cuba). Student and the admirer of Francisco Tarrega.

From the youth was insperied  by the guitar, but the primary occupation which later dedicated the large part of the life was the production of guitars. He conquered respect among the guitarists like a guitar maker but not like a performer. Roch managed the factory of musical instrumens in Valencia. At the age of 50 moved in Cuba.

Author of the "Modern Method for Guitar according to the method Tarrega"  in the 3 volumes, published in 1921 in New York (Roch, Pascual. A Modern Method For Guitar. School of Tarrega. Vol. 1-3. New York: G Schirmer Inc., 1921). In 1962 was published In short form  in  USSR edited by A. Ivanov-Kramskoy
