Johann Heinrich Carl Bornhardt was a German composer, pianist, a guitarist and a music teacher.
From The childhood was a friend of the writer Klingemann, worked as a registrar at the main Upper medical college. In addition, he was working as a music teacher in Brunswick.He was nationally known, as a piano and guitar virtuoso. In Brunswick, he works in his 1790, founded the "Music Lovers Society" . Bornhardt introduced the guitar to Northern Germany. To this instrument, he wrote a multiple works and re-issued a guitar school.
He wright music, arrangements for piano and guitar.He is writing music to the Theodor Körner songs( "Leyer and sword") and works of the German classics, including Goethe and especially Schiller ( "The divers").
