Dominique Delarue - Classical Guitars
Dominique Delarue first was inspired by Ignacio Fleta, his teacher and than later by Daniel Friederich. His instruments are considered having the both qualities of these luthiers.Usually he buids in Spruce.
Delarue guitars are conidered exceptional for their beautiful colors tonal and a broad dynamic range with remarkable balance and plenty of power.
His bracing is unique but he's strived for a very clear resonant tone that projects easily.
These outstanding and very refined concert guitars have a fast-growing reputation. Responsive and loud but with a more traditional guitar sound. Clear, focussed basses with a clear ringing trebles. One of the few guitars that seems to do everything very well. Very comfortably-shaped neck.
Dominique Delarue is building using the absolute finest materials available. True European Spruce (the rare kind thats often searched for) with very tight grains offers a clear bouncy but firm trebles with a unique sparkle to the tone thats only found in high end instruments. This type of spruce also allows a very warm feel like a cedar top but the basses don't lose any depth to the tone, as well as the ability to punch it with a strong attack without losing character. All notes are open especially the high E which is very difficult for luthiers to accomplish.
There's no dullness or constraints to the sound but feels and sounds open and free as every note sounds entirely clear. Basses are big and deep but neither boomy or overwhelming, they balance perfectly with the trebles which are even and very smooth feeling.
Buying Dominique Delarue guitars is a rare opportunity..
